As a Frontend Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining user-facing features using React.js and Next.js. Your role will involve implementing SSR (Server Side Rendering), SSG (Static Site Generation), and dynamic routing using Next.js. It is essential to write clean, maintainable, and type-safe code by utilizing TypeScript. Efficient consumption of APIs using React Query or SWR for data fetching and caching will be a core part of your responsibilities. You will manage application state through Redux Toolkit or Zustand and build responsive, cross-browser compatible UIs using Tailwind CSS, CSS Modules, or modern CSS practices. Ensuring pixel-perfect implementation based on designs from Figma or other design tools is crucial. Your duties will also include implementing and managing authentication flows using JWT, session-based methods, or NextAuth.js. Collaborating with backend developers to seamlessly integrate REST APIs into the frontend will be necessary. Writing unit and component tests using Jest and React Testing Library, and following best practices for version control using Git are essential aspects of the role. Maintaining accessibility standards (a11y) for inclusive design, participating in code reviews, and contributing to improving code quality and development standards are expected. Additionally, deploying frontend applications using platforms like Vercel or configuring GitHub Actions for CI/CD pipelines will be considered advantageous. In terms of requirements, proficiency in React.js, Next.js, TypeScript, React Query or SWR, global state management, Tailwind CSS or CSS Modules, Git, basic testing with Jest and React Testing Library, responsive design techniques, HTML5, modern CSS, and authentication methods is essential. Familiarity with accessibility best practices and basic CI/CD knowledge using Vercel or GitHub Actions is desirable. Clean code practices and strong debugging skills are also highly valued.
