As a Senior Software Engineer II (DevSecOps) at Genea, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the secure delivery and operation of our SaaS products. Your responsibilities will include embedding security best practices into CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure, designing and maintaining security scanning and monitoring tools, and working with developers to integrate security tools without affecting delivery velocity. You will also be involved in developing and enforcing policies for secrets management, IAM least privilege, and secure artifact storage. In addition, you will support audits such as SOC 2 by maintaining evidence of security controls, monitor and respond to security events, drive incident response processes, and perform code and infrastructure reviews from a security perspective. Your role will also involve automating compliance checks, contributing to documentation and internal knowledge sharing, and participating in infrastructure and architecture reviews to advise on secure designs. To qualify for this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Security, or a related field, along with at least 3 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure, or Security Engineering. You should have hands-on experience with cloud security services and policies, vulnerability management, container security tools, Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD pipelines, networking security, encryption, certificate management, and IAM. Familiarity with regulatory and compliance standards and strong scripting skills are also required.
