Accel is hiring for Network Security Engineer for Chennai.

Exp - 7 to 10 Yrs

Location : Chennai

NP : Max 60 days

Key Skills : Cisco ISE, Juniper Firewall, Aruba Central, Cisco Switches

JD:

Key Responsibilities:

Router & Firewall Migration

• Backup configuration from existing router/firewall.
• Study, analyse, and document current configuration details.
• Upgrade firmware in the new router/firewall to recommended versions.
• Restore configuration to the new firewall and test for service continuity.
• Perform troubleshooting and final testing for WAN/MPLS/LAN connectivity.
• Backup configuration post-deployment for rollback/recovery purposes.

Switching Infrastructure

• Verify and back up existing switch configurations.
• Restore configuration to new switches and verify operational status.
• Perform port-level verification and validate access policies.
• Ensure VLAN, trunking, and port-security settings are intact.

SD-Access & Cisco ISE/Meraki Management

• Administer

  Cisco SD-Access

  environments and oversee fabric deployments.
• Manage and monitor Cisco

  Meraki

  devices (switches, access points, firewalls).
• Operate and configure

  Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE)

  for access control policies, device profiling, and RADIUS/TACACS integration.

Required Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience with

  Cisco Switches.

• Strong hands-on experience with

  Juniper

  Firewalls

  .
• Good understanding of

  MPLS, VLANs, Trunking, Routing Protocols (OSPF/BGP)

  .
• Expertise in firmware upgrades, backup/restoration procedures.
• Experience with

  Cisco SD-Access

  ,

  Cisco DNA,

  Meraki Dashboard

  , and

  Cisco ISE

  .
• Proficiency in configuration review and documentation.

Certifications (Preferred):

• CCNA / CCNP (Enterprise/Security)

• Cisco Meraki or SD-Access Certification (Nice to Have)
• Cisco ISE Training/Experience Certificate (Advantageous)

Soft Skills:

• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to coordinate with cross-functional IT teams.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting ability.
