Candidate should have minimum 5 years working experience on wastewater modelling for ANZ and UK & I region especially on model calibration & verification Candidate should be well versed with Infoworks ICM hydraulic modelling software. Having hands on experience with modeling tools like Water GEMS, SewerGEMS, StormCAD, PCSWMM, HEC-RAS, GeoPak would be advantage. Experience in working in Common Data Environment (ProjectWise and BIM 360) Capable for leading the project, coordinating with Lead Office, mentoring juniors and ensuring quality checks Complete design activities to specified standards including earthworks modelling and design, sanitary and storm sewer design, watermain design, grading of roads and drive isles, lot grading, and stormwater management design of ponds and other retention systems. Qualifications Master of Engineering degree (or equivalent education) in an appropriate engineering discipline from an accredited college or university. Chartered Engineer (CEng), or Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent in the relevant field from any global organization (e.g., Institution of Civil Engineers, UK). Highly motivated, hardworking, interpersonal, and enthusiastic team player that is willing to learn and adapt to change. US/UK/Canada Experience will be added advantage Good communication skills, and ability to work well independently at times. Capable for leading the project, coordinating with Lead Offices, mentoring juniors and ensuring quality checks Complete design/hydraulic modelling activities as per specified standards for different regional projects. Assist in establishing processes for working with ANZ/US/UK&I/ME offices. Independently manage project tasks, ensuring on-time delivery while adhering to AECOM's quality standards. Having 5 to 12 years of working experience on projects from UK & Ireland, US, Middle East, and ANZ regions. Work on model build and calibration, flood mitigation schemes, CSO spill reduction program etc. using InfoWorks ICM for wastewater modelling projects across UK & Ireland, US, Middle East, and ANZ regions. Proficiency in 2D and water quality modelling is an added advantage. Role Summary As a Senior Engineer (Modelling) within our Water Team, you will provide technical support on water distribution projects to ensure accurate and efficient project delivery for internal and external clients. The role includes providing support on hydraulic modelling studies using industry standard software (Infoworks WS (Pro) / Synergi) as well as other projects requiring detailed technical analysis. You will be expected to use existing models as well as building new models to assess and understand asset performance. We are seeking candidates who are enthusiastic, willing to learn, self-motivated and passionate about delivering quality projects. Responsibilities: Provide technical input on water and or wastewater projects as part of a project team. Roles include: • Network Modelling in support of Engineers and Senior Engineers • Support to development of Feasibility studies and optioneering. • Use of network models to analyse Asset Performance. • Preparation of reports and supporting drawings. • Definition of work needed by field investigation teams. • Responding to customer needs to support maintaining good client relationships at all levels. Provide guidance to, and manage the work of Graduates, Engineers and Technicians working on the same projects. Attend and contribute to project meetings internally and with clients via video conferencing where appropriate. Undertake your own continuing professional development under guidance from your Line Manager.
