Your role will involve designing and developing advanced applications for the Android platform, ensuring the best performance, quality, and responsiveness of the app. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new features while translating designs and wireframes into high-quality code. Additionally, you will work on bug fixing and improving the overall application performance. To excel in this role, you must have a strong working experience in Java, Kotlin, and MVP, with knowledge in MVVM architecture being preferred. You should be well-versed in Google's Android design principles, patterns, best practices, and interface guidelines. Experience in the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies is essential. You will work with outside data sources, APIs, and design patterns, and have the opportunity to unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and reliability. A good understanding of memory management, network interaction, performance tuning, concurrency, and multi-threading in Android is mandatory. Additionally, you must have a solid grasp of Computer Science Fundamentals and Data Structures. Ideally, you should have more than 2 years of hands-on experience in Android application development and hold a B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent engineering degree from a Tier I or II college.
