Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology Your role and responsibilities As an Infrastructure Specialist at IBM, you will support the infrastructure running industries likes transportation, energy, insurance, banking or healthcare which are rapidly changing as the worlds relationship with technology evolves. As an Associate Infrastructure Specialist, you'll be responsible for keeping up with the latest changes, using your expertise to deliver solutions that meet the needs of our clients and products. In your role you may be responsible for: Define, analyse, and review technical architecture on required platform and coming up with architecture options and recommendations. Define, detail, and scope the technical requirements into solutions. Experiencing with networking and associated protocols including TCP/UDP, DMVPN, OSPF, BGP, DNS, SNMP, and other internet associated protocols (e.g., IPSEC, HSRP, BGP, OSPF, 802.11, QoS) Knowledge in multiple architectural domains and network design to include routing, switching, DataCenter and security. Good understanding of network infrastructure and network hardware along with good understanding on NSX/SDN administration. Knowledge in CISCO Switches (Cisco Catalyst), Firewall (Checkpoint, SonicWall, FortiGate), Transceiver, PROXY, Router, DNS, VPN, WAF and IPS etc Preferred technical and professional experience Knowledge of LAN, WAN and Data Centre network architectures, enterprise design and industry standards relevant to data communications / networking and computing. Knowledge of setting up SDN and VSX and supporting the same. Professional certification in CISSP, CCIE, CCNA, or CCNP are advantageous and possess SonicWALL Related Certification will be an added advantage
