Network Engineer

As a Network Engineer at Netweb Technologies, you will play a crucial role in the team, either working on in-house projects or collaborating with external clients as part of project management teams. With a minimum of 4 years of experience as a Network Administrator, you will have a solid understanding of Routing & Switching technologies. Your responsibilities will include providing Level 2 or Level 3 expertise for incident and problem management, handling security incident responses, and conducting root cause analysis. A key aspect of your role will involve designing and implementing new network solutions, optimizing existing networks for improved efficiency, performance, and security. You will be tasked with configuring and optimizing various network equipment, such as routers, proxy servers, switches, WAN/LAN/VLAN/interVLAN accelerators, DNS, and DHCP. Procuring network equipment based on project requirements, managing subcontractors involved in network installations, and ensuring the successful implementation and integration of network equipment will be part of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will configure firewalls, routing, and switching to enhance network efficiency and security, implement appropriate security policies and protocols, and continuously monitor network performance to proactively identify and resolve issues. To qualify for this role, you should hold a Bachelor's degree (BTECH) in Computer Science Engineering (CSE), Information Technology (IT), or Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), along with a minimum of 4 years" experience as a Network Administrator focusing on Routing & Switching technologies. Possessing CCNA/CCNP certification is required. Strong knowledge of network protocols and technologies, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VLANs, as well as proficiency in configuring and supporting network equipment, managing subcontractors involved in network installations, and excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills are essential.
