Job Summary:

The L1 Network Associate is responsible for providing first-level technical support for network-related issues within the ISP/Telecom infrastructure. This role involves monitoring network performance, resolving basic network faults, escalating complex issues to higher levels, and ensuring uninterrupted internet services to customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor network performance, uptime, and alerts using NMS tools.
  • Respond to and resolve Level 1 network incidents, alarms, and service requests within defined SLAs.
  • Troubleshoot basic faults in broadband, FTTH, leased lines, and wireless links.
  • Perform routine health checks and report abnormalities to senior engineers.
  • Coordinate with field engineers for on-site support and maintenance activities.
  • Escalate unresolved issues to L2/L3 network engineers with proper documentation.
  • Maintain accurate incident and resolution records in the ticketing system.
  • Assist in configuration of CPE devices, modems, ONTs, and routers as required.
  • Provide technical support to internal teams and end customers when necessary.
  • Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) for network operations and maintenance.

Key Requirements:

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Telecommunications, or related field.
  • 0–2 years of experience in ISP/Telecom network operations or technical support.
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, LAN, WAN).
  • Familiarity with common network equipment: routers, switches, modems, ONTs.
  • Knowledge of network monitoring and ticketing tools is an advantage.
  • Good communication skills to coordinate with customers and internal teams.
  • Willingness to work in rotational shifts, including nights and weekends.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
