You have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Server Management Administrator with 3-6 years of experience in Linux server administration. As a Server Management Administrator, you will be responsible for server installation, maintenance, decommissioning, and troubleshooting in both physical and virtual environments. Your expertise in Linux OS operations, hypervisor operations (XEN and VMware), LVM, DNS, LDAP, and IPTables will be crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our server landscape. In addition to your Linux proficiency, you should have a basic understanding of at least one public cloud platform such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. Knowledge of automation tools like Chef, scripting languages like bash and Perl, and version control systems like GitHub will be advantageous. Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Prometheus and ELK stack will also be beneficial. Your role will involve providing 3rd level technical support in alignment with customer SLAs, following ITIL processes for daily compute operations, and handling server-related tasks such as storage operations, patch management, and performance analysis. You will also be expected to collaborate with 2nd level technical support on complex issues and participate in an on-call rotation if required.
