This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career. These responsibilities include some of the following.

• Contribute to the delivery of high-quality software for the organisation, executing best practice across all platforms
  •Support testing, releases, deployment, and maintenance of software•Work with relevant Technology stakeholders (e.g. Squad Leads, Chapter Leads) both on short- and long-term goals and ensuring delivery against technical roadmap while delivering regular updates to stakeholders•Work closely with other technical staff (including QA, Platform Engineers, Site Reliability Engineers, Systems Engineers) to understand requirements and prototype, architect, implement, operate and update DevOps solutions accordingly•Considers security, maintainability, performance of code•Facilitates interactions between DevOps/Software team and wider technical organisation to develop best practice and encourage knowledge- & tool-sharing•Follows industry trends and developments to better meet wider business & IT goals and ensure that the Software ecosystem is at the cutting edge of enterprise-grade software development automation systems•Contributes to build complex software and enforces guidelines on patterns and frameworks•Contribute and drive systems engineering, software delivery automation and CI/CD practices across all digital platforms•Ensures failures or errors are resolved quickly•Mentors other engineers in the team•Provides leadership to the technical community supporting with best practice, recruitment, development and other community activities•We are looking for professionals with these skills to achieve our goals. • Technical Expectations:

  •We are recruiting a broad-range of technical disciplines and are looking to hire ‘T’ shaped engineers across most profiles. Most importantly you must have a good coding capability to deliver our products.•

  Expertise with minimum 5 years in programming languages

  (e.g.

  .Net Core (ReactJS Preferred),

  TypeScript)

  ,

  database technologies

  (SQL and NoSQL, experience with MongoDB is welcome) and

  release & configuration management tools

  (e.g. Chef, Puppet)•Confident with

  Service Oriented and Microservice based architectures

  (

  RESTful, NodeJS, Apigee

  )•Experience with

  scripting languages

  (Python, Shell, PowerShell) in cloud environments with a focus on Iaas, Paas, in Azure.•Strong understanding of

  modern DevOps platform technologies

  (GitHub Actions) incl. infrastructure-as-code (e.g. Terraform, Ansible and containers such as Docker and Kubernetes)•Experience with

  code quality and code security tools

  (i.e SonarQube, DataDog)•Good knowledge of Behaviour Driven Development and test automation tooling (Jest, Jasmine, Junit, Playwright)•Experience with

  Atlassian suite

  •Experience with

  agile methodologies

  •Experience working in a

  cloud native environment

  (Azure), good knowledge of Azure Services and infrastructure configuration & deployment

  •Desirable: Azure Certified (AZ-204)

• Basic Qualifications:

  •Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, other relevant discipline or equivalent practical experience.•8+ years of overall IT work experience.•5+ years of programming and / or platform & systems engineering.
