Strong working experience as a DBA (MySQL). Expertise in MySQL internals, HA, clustering, and replication, Performance tuning and diagnostics, Backup/restore mechanisms, Monitoring and alerting tools and Security hardening and logging. Strong hands-on experience with Linux/Unix OS, SQL/PLSQL scripting, Bash, Python scripting and Infrastructure as Code tools (Ansible, Jenkins, Terraform). Experience in Agile teams and workflows. Hands on experience in MongoDB, PostgreSQL and Cassandra. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. RESPONSIBILITIES: Architect and maintain MySQL database infrastructure for high availability and scalability. Handle patching, upgrades, security configurations, and monitoring of MySQL environments. Implement backup and disaster recovery plans. Optimize slow queries and support performance-intensive workloads. Work closely with DevOps and Application teams on CI/CD pipelines and automation. Manage database migrations across multiple environments. Maintain compliance with data governance and auditing standards.
