Job Summary: We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Network Engineer to support a comprehensive IT infrastructure assessment initiative. You will be responsible for evaluating existing network environments, identifying risks and gaps, and recommending scalable, secure, and high-performing network architectures. This role reports directly to the Infrastructure Architect. Key Responsibilities: Conduct end-to-end assessments of enterprise network environments (LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, Wireless, VPNs). Document and analyze network topologies, hardware inventory, and configurations. Evaluate performance, availability, and scalability of network components. Identify network security vulnerabilities, compliance risks, and bottlenecks. Support the architect in defining future-state network design and remediation plans. Recommend optimizations and upgrades based on industry best practices. Collaborate with datacenter, cloud, and cybersecurity teams for holistic infrastructure assessment. Create technical documentation, executive summaries, and findings reports. Requirements: Minimum 8 years of experience in enterprise network engineering and operations. Hands-on expertise with routing and switching (Cisco, Juniper), firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortinet), and SD-WAN. Strong knowledge of network protocols (BGP, OSPF, MPLS, etc.). Experience with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is preferred. Familiarity with network monitoring and assessment tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Wireshark, NetBrain).
