You will be responsible for conducting training sessions for sales staff on musical instruments such as guitars, pianos, and keyboards. Your main focus will be on educating the sales team about product features, benefits, and unique selling points. Additionally, you will provide live demonstrations and cover basic music theory, instrument care, and tuning. It will be your duty to ensure that the retail staff understand customer needs and can effectively match products to those needs. Your role will involve developing training materials, manuals, and guides specifically tailored for salespeople. Collaboration with sales managers and product teams will be essential to align training sessions with business objectives. You will also need to evaluate the effectiveness of the training programs and make necessary adaptations to ensure their success. It is crucial to stay updated on the latest products, technologies, and trends in music gear. Providing periodic refresher workshops and hands-on instrument clinics will also be part of your responsibilities. To qualify for this position, you must have proven experience as a musician, music educator, or product specialist. Proficiency in playing guitar and piano/keyboard is a must. Previous experience in retail or B2C/B2B sales training is preferred. Strong communication and presentation skills are required, along with the ability to explain complex technical concepts in a simple and understandable manner. There may be a requirement for travel within the NCR region. Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Music, Performing Arts, Education, or equivalent. Certifications from music schools such as Trinity, ABRSM, Berklee online, etc., will be advantageous. Experience working with musical instrument brands like Yamaha, Casio, Roland, Fender is also desirable. This is a full-time position with benefits including Provident Fund.
