MRI Technician

You will be responsible for performing MRI imaging procedures on appropriate anatomical regions following the accepted standards of practice and protocols of the individual site Radiologist. Your duties will include completing and signing Patient Screening forms, explaining procedures to patients, and ensuring patient care, comfort, and safety during transport to and from the coach and throughout the exam. To maintain technical competency, you will engage in continued education and participate in company-sponsored training programs. With guidance and approval from the site Radiologist, you will administer contrast agents as per site-specific protocols. Collaboration with facility healthcare personnel and adherence to facility policies and procedures are essential aspects of your role. It is imperative that you hold current Permits to Practice in all states where services are rendered. Providing images to the facility in the desired format, conducting equipment quality checks, troubleshooting issues, and promptly calling for service and notifying relevant team members are among your responsibilities. Additionally, you may be involved in setting up and dismantling equipment in compliance with SMS and/or manufacturers guidelines. Maintaining cleanliness both inside and outside the mobile coach/facility is part of your routine tasks. Administrative duties such as time reporting, billing, QA procedures, and following quality assurance guidelines while upholding patient confidentiality are crucial. Cooperating with facility healthcare professionals, adhering to facility policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and performing any additional duties as necessary are all integral to this role.
