Lead Cloud Strategy Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated Lead Cloud Strategy to support and drive cloud transformation initiatives within the telecommunications sector. This role involves formulating cloud strategies , supporting deployment architectures , and guiding cloud-native application modernization using OpenStack , OpenShift , and public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP). You will work closely with cross-functional teams to enable scalable, secure, and cost-efficient cloud solutions tailored to telecom environments. ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with senior architects and business stakeholders to define and refine the organization’s cloud strategy in the telecom domain. Lead small to mid-sized cloud transformation initiatives from a technical strategy perspective. Evaluate current telecom IT and network infrastructure for cloud migration opportunities. Support the design and deployment of hybrid/multi-cloud architectures integrating OpenStack, OpenShift, and public cloud solutions. Assist in building cloud-native platforms for telecom workloads including VNF/CNF orchestration and management. Ensure cloud solutions meet compliance, security, and performance standards aligned with telecom regulations. Stay current on industry trends and emerging cloud technologies relevant to telco environments. Contribute to the development of proof-of-concepts (PoCs), solution demos, and customer proposals. ________________________________________ Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communication, Engineering, or related field. 5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure and/or cloud strategy roles . Hands-on experience with OpenStack (deployment, orchestration, lifecycle management). Working knowledge of OpenShift for containerized workloads and DevOps pipelines. Experience with at least one major public cloud platform (AWS, Azure, GCP). Proficiency in networking technologies, IP networking, VPN’s, DNS, load balancing and firewalling. Understanding of telecom architecture (5G, 4G, NFV, SDN) and cloud-native evolution. Understanding of Telco MPBN Architecture (IP Networking). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. About this opportunity: We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Backoffice RAN Engineer with deep expertise in Ericsson LTE/5G NSA & SA technologies. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling end-to-end tasks related to 5G and other emerging technologies in Managed Services Operations. This role requires a strong understanding of the latest mobile network architecture and the ability to drive and support technology tasks and deliveries effectively. What you will do: Manage operational issues from a process and tools perspective for 5G and new technologies. Provide technical troubleshooting and resolution of daily operational issues within the RAN network. Lead - Packet Core & MPBN ( Gurugram) Overall this position is expected to take the end to end responsibility of Circle MPBN Network planning and economics for PAN India locations. Aims at creating robust MPBN network from One Airtel perspective to provide seamless experience and end to end SLAs To build robust MPBN network to meet Company objective of becoming a prominent player in PACO service by developing scalable/reliable network across PAN India for all business units. Packet Core, MPBN,BRAS and TechLAN IP nodes capacity management in line with Business Requirement. Proactive planning for traffic growth Based on Business Projections In time ordering and implementation / rollout 2. Impact analysis & implementation for PS/CS IP (MPBN) nodes. Version upgrades New business features and network features as per business requirement. Troubleshooting 3. Packet Core, MPBN, BRAS, and Techlan IP nodes network design (HLD, LLD). Total experience of 5-8 years Bachelors degree in Electronics & Communications or equivalent. Working knowledge or hands on experience of IP Nodes. Awareness about Telecom Nodes. Knowledge of IP technology like Router, switch, Firewall. Hands on experience of L1 and L2 Level Support and troubleshooting Good communication skills and he should be able to aggressively take proactive measures.
