As a member of the OMRON Industrial Automation team, you will play a crucial role in creating social value by improving manufacturing processes that support a sustainable society. Your responsibilities will include engaging in pre-sales activities such as conducting customer visits for detailed application studies and collaborating with the Sales/System Integrator team to understand customer requirements and provide appropriate automation solutions and products. Additionally, you will be involved in designing system architecture, preparing bill of materials (BOM), and submitting Proof of Concept (PoC) reports to the sales team for advanced automation applications. In the project execution phase, you will develop application programs for automation products, conduct installation and commissioning of automation projects for customers within specified timelines, and closely monitor project execution in collaboration with channel partner engineers. Furthermore, you will work closely with internal departments to ensure efficient execution and positioning of project applications. Your role will also involve providing technical support to end users, OEM customers, and channel partners through various channels, conducting training programs and On the Job Training (OJT) sessions for customers/Channel Partners to enhance their understanding of OMRON products, and participating in seminars, road shows, and trade shows to promote OMRON products. You will be responsible for preparing and submitting monthly reports, technical notes, quick start guides, success stories, and Proof of Concept documents. The ideal candidate for this position should possess a B.E. or equivalent Diploma in Electronics and Communication/Electrical and Electronics Engineering/Mechatronics Engineering, along with 3 to 6 years of experience in application programming, installation, and commissioning of automation products like PLC, HMI SCADA, VFD, Servo Drive, and Motion Controller. You should have functional skills in programming, installation, and commissioning of PLC, HMI, SCADA, Servo, VFD, and Motion Controller, as well as knowledge of industrial networking and communications. Behavioral skills such as good communication and presentation skills, attention to detail, target orientation, and willingness to dedicate extra efforts when required are essential for this role.
