Role & responsibilities: 1) Market Intelligence & Opportunity Identification Track upcoming transmission projects in state, central & private utilities. Identify tenders floated by PGCIL, State TRANSCOs, PSUs & Other Agencies involved. Maintain a pipeline of potential projects, including Inter & Intra state grid connections, green energy corridors, railway electrification, RE integration, Highway projects, and smart grid initiatives. 2) Customer & Stakeholder Relationship Management Identify, build, and maintain strong relationships with: Power Grid Corporation of India (PGCIL) State Transmission Utilities (e.g., GETCO, MSETCL, TGTRANSCO, UPPTCL, HVPNL, KPTCL, etc.) EPC contractors (With major focus on Mid-Sized& Small EPCs) Regular interactions with TRANSCOs & DISCOMs and other stakeholders for early influence. 3) Tender Monitoring & Bid Management Daily monitoring of tender portals. Coordinate with the tendering and estimation teams for timely and competitive bid submissions. Analyse tender specifications and ensure compliance. 4) Sales Target Achievement Add accounts/EPCs to the existing base, supporting sales team with more enquiries to expand Funnel. Focus on supporting sales for order book growth and conversion of identified leads into orders. 5) Strategic Account Management Develop key account strategies for major clients (e.g., PGCIL, TRSNACOs, etc.). Ensure repeat business through high service quality and proactive engagement. 6) Competitor & Price Benchmarking Maintain a database of competitor activities, pricing trends, and market share. Benchmark your company's offerings and pricing against competitors to develop a winning edge. 7) Regulatory & Policy Awareness Stay updated on CEA, CERC, MNRE, MoP, and state-level policy changes. Identify how policy shifts (e.g., privatization, RE targets, grid reforms) create new BD opportunities. 8) Marketing & Brand Positioning Represent the company at exhibitions (ELECRAMA, REI, etc.), industry events, and technical seminars. Contribute to brochures, presentations, and technical proposals tailored for the power transmission sector. 9) Internal Coordination Act as the interface between customer and internal departments: Engineering/design (for custom tower/pole solutions) Production (to align delivery schedules) Finance (for bid bonds, BGs, and credit approvals) 10) MIS & Reporting Weekly reporting on: Customer visits and interactions Tender status Order book and sales funnel updates Competitor intelligence Use CRM tools for tracking opportunities and action plans. Preferred candidate profile Engage in technical discussions with clients and consultants. Present techno-commercial proposals, especially where innovation or alternative solutions are involved (e.g., Y-Poles, compact lines, monopoles in urban areas).

Role & responsibilities: Expertise in understanding design codes & standards, technical specifications and design of Lighting, Traffic, Telecom, Utility Structures. Perform duties related to structural engineering calculations, engineering plans, design, and layout, container calculations & cost estimation. Provide drawing for own designs and produce sketches to incorporate in drawings by Designers/Drafters. Performing electrical clearance diagrams, sag tension calculations, sag curve template preparation, profile drawing preparation, load calculations, and spotting calculations. Preferred candidate profile: Knowledge of product standards Lighting, Traffic, Telecom, Utility Structures (Monopole Design) Knowledge of Lighting structures designs codes & Standards EN 40, TR-7, CP3, PLG07, EN1991-1-4 etc. Knowledge of Telecom structures designs codes & Standards TIA/222-G or H, IS 875 (Part 3), IS 800, IS 456 etc. Knowledge of Utility structures designs codes & Standards ASCE/SEI 48-19, EN 50341, IS 802, IS 5613, CBIP Manual, etc. Knowledge of Material Codes & Standards IS 2062, IS 1161, IS 4923, ASTM A572, BSEN 10025, ISO 898, ASTM A123, BSEN 1061, IS 4759 etc. Proficient in using computer-assisted engineering design software i.e. STAAD Pro, TNX Tower, PLS Pole, RISA, AutoCAD & MS office OR any other design software to prepare engineering designs. This executive will oversee plant operations, production planning, quality assurance, supply chain, EHS, and strategic process improvements across multiple product lines. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of metal fabrication, heavy engineering processes, and high-volume production for transmission infrastructure. Key Responsibilities: Lead manufacturing operations across multiple product lines: Lattice Towers, Conductors, and Monopoles. Oversee multiple plants and facilities to ensure timely and quality production. Drive Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Kaizen practices for operational efficiency. Develop and implement manufacturing strategies aligned with organizational goals. Monitor budgets, production schedules, and KPIs for productivity, safety, quality, and cost. Ensure compliance with industry standards (ISO, IEC, etc.) and safety protocols. Collaborate with design, project management, procurement, and logistics for smooth execution. Implement automation, digitization, and technology adoption across production lines. Mentor and build strong leadership across the operations team. Vendor and supply chain development for raw materials like steel, zinc, aluminum, etc. Required Qualifications: B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical / Electrical / Metallurgy / Production Engineering; MBA is an advantage. 20+ years of experience in manufacturing with at least 5–8 years in senior leadership roles. Must have direct experience in manufacturing Transmission Towers, Conductors, Steel Structures, or Monopoles. Proven track record in managing large-scale fabrication units (preferably 1000+ MT/month capacity). Strong knowledge of galvanization, welding, rolling, extrusion, and metal forming processes. Exposure to international manufacturing standards and EPC project execution is a plus.
