As a developer in the Service Cloud team, your primary responsibility will be to develop product features within the Service portfolio. You will be instrumental in assisting the team transition to the cloud native world by leveraging cutting-edge technologies. Programming languages you will work with include a mix of Javascript (Angular, NodeJS, React) and Java. You are expected to be a motivated, self-starter who can operate with minimal handholding, possess good technical skills, and have an aptitude for translating business requirements into technical solutions. Your role will involve designing, coding, testing, and ensuring the quality of complex product features within our Customer Experience & Service portfolio. You will be the expert in your area and interface with customers, Cloud Product organizations, and other Stakeholder organizations. A can-do attitude and the ability to collaborate with colleagues across different time-zones and development areas are essential. To be successful in this role, you should have 2-4 years of software engineering experience and a strong understanding of CS fundamentals including Object-Oriented Design Principles, Data Structures, Algorithms, Database, and Operating Systems. Knowledge of Cloud and Open Source technologies is required. You should be a hands-on developer with expertise in programming languages such as Java, JS, Angular, etc. Experience working with Git and CI/CD, developing, debugging, and deploying software, writing production quality code, and working with SQL databases is necessary. Exposure to NoSQL databases, microservices, container technologies (Kubernetes, Docker), test-driven development, event messaging, and streaming services like Kafka would be advantageous. In your team, SAP Cloud for Customer (C4C) is a cloud product within the SAP CX Line of business. You will work on enhancing the product with innovative features and contribute to the complete redesign using microservices and container-based technology. This role offers exposure to technologies like Java, AngularJs, SonarQubes, MongoDB, and more.
