Model Based Design Engineer

As a Model Based Development Engineer at TVS Motor Company, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, simulating, validating, and verifying models using advanced simulation tools and model-based methodologies for advanced powertrain control systems. Your responsibilities will include understanding powertrain system requirements, translating them into detailed plant models, performing simulations for fuel efficiency and emission compliance, designing control algorithms, integrating plant and control models, and conducting system level testing of Powertrain embedded ECUs. To excel in this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Automotive Engineering. You must have experience with auto-code generation, integration of code with underlying platforms, and analyzing test rider feedback to drive engineering solutions and improvements. Your functional competencies should include product knowledge, product engineering & development, and automotive fundamentals. In addition to technical skills, you are expected to demonstrate strong behavioral competencies such as basic communication skills, collaborative teamwork, interpersonal effectiveness, personal leadership, rigor in job completion, customer-centric focus, and efficient time management.
