We are looking for a skilled and motivated VAS Engineer to join our team in Noida. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Value Added Services within telecom networks, with hands-on experience in protocols and platforms such as SMSC, MMSC, VMS, GSM, SS7, Sigtran, TCP/IP, IMS, and Diameter. This role involves working on the design, implementation, testing, and support of VAS solutions to enhance telecom service offerings. Connect with me over LinkedIn : https://www.linkedin.com/in/nitin-tushir-abc0048/ Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and support Value Added Services (VAS) including SMSC, MMSC, and VMS platforms. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to signaling protocols such as SS7, Sigtran, SCCP, SCTP, and Diameter. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate VAS with GSM networks and IMS infrastructure. Analyze network traffic and signaling to ensure service quality and performance. Implement and maintain TCP/IP-based communication between network elements. Participate in solution design and architecture discussions for new VAS products and enhancements. Provide technical support and expertise to customer sites and internal teams. Conduct root cause analysis for service failures and propose preventive measures. Keep up to date with latest telecom technologies and standards relevant to VAS. Required Skills and Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Electronics, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or related field. 2 to 14 years of experience in telecom VAS engineering or related roles. Strong knowledge of Value Added Services such as SMSC (Short Message Service Center), MMSC (Multimedia Messaging Service Center), VMS (Voice Mail System). In-depth understanding of GSM network architecture and protocols. Expertise in signaling protocols: SS7, Sigtran, SCCP, SCTP. Hands-on experience with IMS and Diameter protocol for IP multimedia services. Good knowledge of TCP/IP networking and troubleshooting. Experience with telecom network interfaces and signaling. Ability to analyze protocol logs and network traces for troubleshooting. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and teamwork skills
