Job Overview: We are seeking a passionate and experienced PGT English Teacher to join our senior secondary school faculty. The ideal candidate should have strong subject knowledge, a passion for literature and language, and the ability to inspire and engage students of Classes XI and XII. Key Responsibilities: Teach English to senior secondary classes (11th & 12th) in accordance with the State board curriculum. Prepare lesson plans, assignments, and assessments that meet academic standards. Promote creative and critical thinking through literary discussions, writing activities, and projects. Evaluate student performance through classwork, homework, examinations, and projects. Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning. Stay updated with new teaching methods, syllabus changes, and educational technology. Organize and participate in school events, literary activities, debates, and other English language initiatives. Communicate effectively with parents, colleagues, and school management. Maintain proper student records and contribute to academic planning and department meetings. Qualifications & Requirements: Master’s Degree in English from a recognized university. B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) is mandatory. Minimum 3 years of teaching experience at the senior secondary level preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Familiarity with online teaching platforms and digital tools is a plus. Strong classroom management and lesson planning abilities.
