We are seeking an experienced Project Lead/Manager to drive the R&D application separation program as part of a strategic business spinoff/divestiture initiative. This role demands expertise in Accolade (Innovation & Portfolio Management), IT PPM (Project Portfolio Management), and GISC (Global Information Systems Console) to ensure successful data, application, and process separation across the R&D domain. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in orchestrating separation planning, stakeholder alignment, and execution of complex R&D systems divestitureensuring minimal disruption to business operations and compliance with corporate governance. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Lead technical planning and execution of Project Management Tools and Data Separation Workstream across R&D systems as part of a corporate spinoff/divestiture initiative, ensuring continuity, compliance, and minimal business disruption. Proficiency in using tools like accolade or Microsoft project to develop project schedule and create all the phases from beginning to end of the project. Prior ITAR Compliance experience will be plus DAY-TO-DAY ACTIVITIES: Drive separation strategy, tool rationalization, transition design and execute data separation. Support the migration and segregation of data, user access, repositories, and historical records. Create clone or move to new infrastructure, collaborating with customer's infrastructure team Cleanse data (for replicate data only) Re-integrate, test, fix bugs, and execute cutover Ensure the application environments are replicated, customized, or decoupled appropriately for the new entity. Collaborate with IT, Enterprise Architecture, R&D, and Compliance teams to identify interdependence, data ownership, and migration strategies. Develop and execute cutover plans, including data exports/imports, tool reconfiguration, access provisioning, and environment setup for the new entity. Ensure regulatory compliance, including RoHS, REACH, SCIP, and sustainability reporting, during the transition process. Provide technical leadership to ensure data integrity, minimal business disruption, and continuity of engineering workflows post-divestiture. Create and maintain detailed documentation covering architecture, tool configurations, validation protocols, and transition status. Serve as a subject matter expert to guide junior engineers, analysts, and external vendors supporting the separation process. Manage and lead Junior Engineers, perform code reviews, and quality management for successful delivery of the project on time, meeting customer scope, cost, and timeline requirements for this workstream. Provide technical oversight on tool configuration, scripting, backup/restore, and automation during separation. Develop and enforce governance for data integrity, change control, traceability, and toolchain validation post-migration. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly and document resolutions for post-divestiture continuity. Facilitate change management activities to support new processes, access structures, and user onboarding for the new entity. KEY TECHNICAL EXPERTISE (SKILLS REQUIRED): Deep knowledge of the tool administration, not just as end user, including ability to manage metadata, configurations and integrations for the "In-Scope Tools" Understanding of the In-scope Tools ecosystem including interconnected tools and processes, and PMO best practices Data Cleansing / Migration: Writing scripts or SQL/Database queries for data cleansing Demonstrated experience in R&D application/data separation, carve-outs, or spinoff transitions. Proficiency in other IT PPM tools (e.g., Clarity PPM, ServiceNow ITBM, Planview) for project governance is a plus. Understanding of GISC tools/systems used for global IT asset inventory and dependency mapping EDUCATIONAL / PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field. or Master’s degree preferred. 10+ years of experience in R&D/Engineering IT environments with proven leadership in application/tool management. 3+ years of experience in executing large scale IT Carveout projects (spinoff or divestitures) Excellent problem-solving, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills. Program & project management skills, risk management, communication skills (written and verbal) with experience executing high visible corporate or consulting engagements Experience managing complex cross-functional teams across IT, business, and compliance. Ability to thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments and lead through influence

To qualify for this position, you should have: • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field. • At least 3 years of experience in managing IT projects in a pharma, life science or related industry. • Strong communication skills. • Technical knowledge of infra and application systems and technologies being implemented within the project. • Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and manage multiple projects simultaneously. • Familiarity with project management software and tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, JIRA). • Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is a plus. Successful IT project managers possess strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. They are also adaptable to changing project requirements, and can effectively manage project team members from various areas of expertise.
