Job Overview : We are looking for an experienced Python Automation Engineer with deep expertise in Pytest framework to join our QA and Automation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and developing automated test suites for APIs, web applications, and backend systems. Key Responsibilities : - Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using Pytest - Automate RESTful APIs, data pipelines, or web-based applications - Build reusable fixtures and libraries to optimize test execution - Work closely with developers, DevOps, and QA to ensure quality releases - Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/GitLab CI) - Identify test gaps, write test cases, and maintain traceability Requirements : - 6 to 12 years of hands-on experience in Python-based automation - Strong working knowledge of Pytest, requests, unittest, or Selenium - Experience testing APIs (REST/GraphQL), backend logic, or databases - Familiarity with Git, Docker, Jenkins, Allure reports - Solid debugging and problem-solving skills - Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies Preferred : - Experience in automation for microservices-based architecture - Knowledge of performance testing tools or security testing is a plus
