We are seeking a talented and creative Game Designer to become a part of our dynamic team. As a Game Designer, you will play a vital role in shaping captivating gaming experiences. Your responsibilities will include writing comprehensive game design documents, having expertise in prototyping, mechanics, pacing, tuning, tutorials, level ramp, and aesthetics. You will utilize a metrics-driven approach to game design, incorporating user feedback to enhance retention, virality, and monetization strategies. Collaborating closely with the senior designer and the team, you will craft a fun and distinctive game. Additionally, you will develop mockups of game screens, engage in playtesting sessions to refine game performance, features, and mechanics, and stay updated on industry trends and emerging game design techniques. The ideal candidate should have a genuine passion for games and a profound understanding of what makes games enjoyable and immersive. A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Game Designer is required, along with technical proficiency in game design. Proficiency in level design using the Unity Engine, knowledge of MS Excel for game balancing, and familiarity with Photoshop are essential. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are crucial, along with a solid grasp of game balancing, pacing, and design principles.
