As a Test Automation Architect at our organization, you will play a crucial role in transforming automation across the enterprise. With a Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer engineering or a related field and a minimum of 12 years of relevant experience, you will collaborate with stakeholders to understand current technologies, frameworks, and tools to gather requirements and address specific test automation needs across various business areas. Your responsibilities will include: - Demonstrating strong hands-on coding experience in Java, and preferably in C#, Python, and JavaScript. - Possessing expertise in Selenium automation and automation frameworks across various technologies such as Selenium, Appium, Cypress, Playwright, and C#. - Having experience in both manual and automation testing in Microservices and monolith backend systems. - Working with RestAssured/Karate based frameworks and Message Queues. - Proficiency in SQL queries and database validations. - Applying test automation principles, methodologies, and best practices. - Designing and implementing a test automation strategy aligned with the organization's business objectives and IT infrastructure. - Defining and implementing test automation frameworks, standards, and best practices to ensure consistency and efficiency across projects and teams. - Identifying and prioritizing test automation opportunities like regression and integration testing for maximum automation benefits. - Collaborating with other Business IT teams to achieve high test automation penetration. - Developing and maintaining test automation scripts, test cases, and test data sets to facilitate efficient automated testing. - Providing guidance and support to teams on utilizing test automation tools and frameworks effectively. - Continuously monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of the test automation strategy and making improvements as necessary to optimize testing processes and outcomes. Your role will also involve building business cases and ROI for chosen automation frameworks, as well as contributing to ETL transformation validation and Unix/Linux commands. By demonstrating your technical expertise and leadership in test automation, you will drive the organization towards achieving excellence in automated testing practices.
