Role Overview We are looking for a passionate and hands-on Engineering Lead (Backend) to join our growing tech team. Key Responsibilities Lead and mentor a team of backend engineers; provide technical guidance, code reviews, and career development. This individual will play a crucial role in crafting high- quality video content that aligns with Blox brand guidelines, marketing highlights, and social media strategy. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, and 3D object integration, with the ability to adapt content for different platforms. They must be highly organized, able to manage raw content dumps, create structured timelines, plan shoots, and oversee the final video output. Key Responsibilities (KRAs): 1. Filming & Production: • Plan, execute, and direct high-quality video shoots for marketing, social media, and branding campaigns. • Handle cinematography, lighting, and camera movement to enhance video storytelling. • Collaborate with content teams to develop shot lists, storyboards, and shoot schedules. • Ensure brand-aligned colour grading and visual tonality in all videos. 2. Editing & Post-Production: • Manage raw footage dumps, organize assets, and shortlist the best takes. • Edit videos with tight, engaging storytelling using Adobe Premiere Pro. • Revamp and enhance audio (voiceovers, background score, SFX) to improve quality. • Maintain structured timelines and review loops for efficient project delivery. 3.
