As a Senior Software Engineer at Mastercard, you will play a crucial role in building performant, scalable, and secure web applications. Your responsibilities will include providing leadership in systems and web application architecture, guiding less experienced engineers, and promoting a user-centered design approach. You will lead a cross-functional development team within the Corporate Solutions organization, focusing on end-to-end solutions for a diverse global customer base. You should have a proven track record of designing and developing externally facing web applications using modern single-page application frameworks such as Angular and React JS. A good understanding of JavaScript, cloud architecture, REST APIs, and messaging frameworks is essential for this role. Experience in building ADA and WCAG compliant web applications, as well as knowledge of multi-tier web development, server-side technologies, and databases, will be beneficial. Your expertise in web application optimizations, authentication and authorization workflows, quality engineering, and continuous integration and delivery will be valuable assets in this position. You should be familiar with agile principles and methodologies, Git-based source control systems, and tech stack including Java 11+, Spring Boot, Apache Kafka, SQL and no SQL databases, REST API, and Angular 11+.
