Role & responsibilities Application Support oProvide support for the PDS application in Windows and Linux environments oEnsure the smooth operation of the application for major airport customers primarily in Windows environments with a focus on Zurich airport Linux environment Standards and Integration oWork with the ACDM Airport Collaborate Decision Making standards oFetch and integrate data from the AODB Airport Operational DataBase a global database maintained by ICAO and accessed via the legacy SITA application called AMS Legacy System Updates oImplement changes and updates to the PDS application as required oUpdate the StandGate plugin for Zurich airport by working with legacy C application developed 25 years ago Code Analysis and Documentation oRigorously analyze and understand the legacy code which is primarily documented within the code itself and in German oTranslate and document the code to ensure clear understanding and future reference Qualifications Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field Proven experience in supporting applications in both Windows and Linux environments Strong knowledge of C programming and experience working with legacy systems Familiarity with ACDM standards and integration with AODB is a plus Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Desired Skills Experience in the aviation or airport operations industry Skills.
