Aster Medcity is looking for Technologist - Nuclear Medicine to join our dynamic team and embark on a rewarding career journey Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients for diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures, following established protocols and safety guidelines Operate gamma cameras, PET scanners, and other specialized imaging equipment to acquire high-quality nuclear medicine images of organs, tissues, and physiological processes Position patients correctly and ensure proper immobilization and patient comfort during imaging procedures, while maintaining radiation safety precautions for patients, staff, and visitors Monitor patients vital signs, reactions, and responses to radiopharmaceuticals during imaging procedures, and communicate any adverse events or complications to the supervising physician or healthcare team Process, analyze, and interpret nuclear medicine images using computerized imaging software and technology to identify abnormalities, lesions, and functional abnormalities Collaborate with radiologists, nuclear medicine physicians, and other healthcare providers to review imaging studies, correlate findings with clinical data, and formulate accurate diagnostic impressions and treatment recommendations Assist in the planning and execution of therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures, such as radioiodine therapy for thyroid disorders, radioimmunotherapy for cancer, and bone pain palliation for metastatic disease Maintain accurate records of radiopharmaceutical inventory, patient dose administration, radiation exposure, and quality control measures in compliance with regulatory requirements and institutional policies Ensure proper disposal of radioactive waste materials and adherence to radiation safety protocols and ALARA (As Low As Reasonably Achievable) principles to minimize radiation exposure risks to patients, staff, and the public

Pathology Lab Technologist in healthcare have the primary responsibility of proper testing all sample (blood/ urine/ sputam etc).Responsibilities As a Pathology Lab Technologist, your primary responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Sample Collection and Preparation: Properly receiving, logging, and labeling all incoming biological samples (blood, urine, sputum, tissue, etc.) according to established protocols. Ensuring samples are correctly stored and prepared for analysis, including centrifugation, aliquoting, and slide preparation. Specimen Testing and Analysis: Performing a wide range of laboratory tests in various disciplines, including: Hematology: Complete Blood Count (CBC), blood film examination, coagulation tests. Clinical Chemistry: Blood glucose, lipid profiles, liver function tests, kidney function tests, electrolyte analysis. Microbiology: Culture and sensitivity testing, Gram staining. Urinalysis: Physical, chemical, and microscopic examination of urine. Serology/Immunology: ELISA, rapid diagnostic tests. Histopathology/Cytology (if applicable): Assisting with tissue processing, embedding, microtomy, and slide staining. Operating and maintaining sophisticated laboratory equipment and automated analyzers (e.g., hematology analyzers, chemistry analyzers, microscopes). Interpreting and validating test results, recognizing abnormalities, and identifying potential sources of error. Quality Control & Assurance: Performing daily quality control checks on reagents, equipment, and testing procedures to ensure accuracy and precision. Participating in internal and external quality assurance programs. Troubleshooting equipment malfunctions and resolving issues under supervision. Documentation and Record Keeping: Accurately recording all test results, quality control data, and other relevant information in the Laboratory Information System (LIS) or manual logs. Maintaining organized records of samples, reagents, and equipment maintenance. Safety and Compliance: Adhering strictly to all laboratory safety protocols, including the proper handling and disposal of biohazardous materials. Ensuring compliance with national and international regulatory standards (e.g., NABL, CAP guidelines). Collaboration: Communicating effectively with other lab personnel, doctors, nurses, and healthcare providers regarding sample status, test results, and any discrepancies. Participating in team meetings and continuous improvement initiatives.
