Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Mechanical Engineer with a strong background in fabrication work to take on a dual role as Supervisor cum Manager. The ideal candidate will oversee day-to-day fabrication operations, manage production teams, ensure quality control, and coordinate with senior management to meet project deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage fabrication shop activities including cutting, welding, fitting, and assembly.
• Interpret engineering drawings and ensure fabrication is done as per specifications.
• Allocate tasks to workers and monitor productivity and quality.
• Coordinate with vendors, procurement, and design teams.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and company standards.
• Maintain records of materials, labor, and work progress.
• Conduct regular inspections and troubleshoot technical issues.
• Lead a team of fabricators, welders, and helpers effectively.

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in fabrication and mechanical supervision.
• Strong knowledge of fabrication processes, tools, and materials.
• Proven experience in managing shop floor operations.
• Good communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure.
