Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities :

Plan ,install and maintain construction equipment such as batching plants ,cranes ,transit mixer concrete pumps ,DG sets and other heavy machinery .
Coordinate with the project team for timely deployment and mobilization of machinery .
Conduct preventive and breakdown maintenance schedules to reduce downtime.
Ensure adherence to safety standards and proper functioning of all equipment.
Maintain detailed records of equipment usage ,maintenance logs and spare part inventories.
Monitor fuel and lubricant consumption and ensure cost control .
Vendor coordination for repairs ,spares and new machinery procurement .
Supervise and guide mechanics and plant operators on -site .
Provide technical support in machinery selection ,setup and troubleshooting .

Preferred candidate profile

Diploma /Degree in Mechanical Engineering
5-7 years of experience in mechanical maintenance roles in bridge /highways infrastructure projects.
Strong knowledge of construction equipment used in civil works .
Excellent problem -solving ,team management and reporting skills ,
Willing to work at remote project locations.
