Department: Design / Product Development Job Overview: We are seeking a talented Visual Designer + CAD Specialist to join our jewellery design team. This role requires a blend of creative artistry and technical precision to produce beautiful, high-quality jewellery designs, CAD models, and marketing visuals. You will be instrumental in bringing new jewellery collections to life - from concept sketches to final renderings and production-ready files. Responsibilities: Create original jewellery designs and visual concepts that align with brand aesthetics and market trends. Develop detailed 2D technical drawings and 3D CAD models for custom pieces and collection designs. Produce high-quality renderings for marketing & e-commerce. Collaborate with in-house designers, gemologists, merchandisers, and production teams to finalize designs. Assist in refining designs based on feedback from clients, production, and sales teams. Maintain organized files, catalogs of designs, and technical specification sheets. Stay updated on jewellery design trends, CAD innovations. Requirements: Bachelors Degree in Jewellery Design, Industrial Design, or a related field. 1-3 years of professional experience in jewellery design, CAD modeling, or a related field (internships considered). Proficient in CAD Software specific to jewellery design (e.g. Rhino, MatrixGold, Gemvision Matrix or ZBrush). Skilled in visual design and rendering software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator). Excellent eye for detail, craftsmanship, and luxury aesthetics. Ability to manage multiple projects, meet tight deadlines, and work both independently and collaboratively. Strong communication skills to clearly convey design intent. Nice To Have: Experience with photography and prototyping for jewellery models. Background in hand sketching and freehand drawing of jewellery designs. Understanding of merchandising needs and how visual assets drive sales. Familiarity with ecommerce platforms and content needs (visual design for product listings).

Requirements: Bachelors or Diploma in Jewellery Design from a reputed institute (NIFT, GIA, SNDT, etc.) 5+ years of professional experience in high-end diamond jewellery design, with a strong portfolio covering both Indian traditional and modern contemporary pieces. Expertise in hand sketching and rendering techniques for jewellery concepts. Proficiency in 3D CAD software (preferably Rhino, MatrixGold, JewelCAD, or equivalent). Strong understanding of diamond grading, jewellery construction, and production processes. Excellent eye for detail, proportion, and aesthetics. Ability to handle multiple design projects under tight timelines. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Preferred Attributes: Prior experience with luxury retail brands or bespoke jewellery houses. Familiarity with lab-grown diamond trends and design adaptations.
