Master Data Engineer - Electrical

Key Responsibilities:

Master Data Governance:

• Define, implement, and maintain data governance policies for electrical data management to ensure data integrity and alignment with company standards.
• Establish and enforce data standards, workflows, and naming conventions for electrical components and materials.
• Coordinate with other teams to resolve data inconsistencies and discrepancies, ensuring seamless data integration across platforms.

Data Quality & Optimization:

• Lead efforts to maintain high-quality, accurate, and up-to-date electrical data across ERP, PLM, and other enterprise systems.
• Continuously monitor and improve data processes to eliminate errors, reduce redundancies, and enhance data accessibility.
• Collaborate with teams to assess and implement automation solutions to improve data accuracy and reduce manual data entry.

Data Integration & System Management:

• Integrate and synchronize electrical data across various business systems, including ERP, PLM, and other internal tools.
• Work closely with project and engineering teams to ensure that electrical data supports product design, development, manufacturing, and supply chain operations.
• Ensure seamless data flows between systems and resolve any technical issues impacting data integration.

Collaboration & Cross-Functional Support:

• Partner with engineering, product development, supply chain, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and provide technical support for data-related needs.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for electrical data, providing training and best practices for internal teams.
• Support data-driven decision-making by ensuring that electrical data is readily accessible, accurate, and reliable.

Reporting & Analytics:

• Develop and maintain reports on electrical data trends, performance, and compliance.
• Collaborate with the data analytics team to create data-driven insights that inform product design, manufacturing efficiency, and inventory management.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Data Management
• In-depth understanding of electrical systems, components, and product specifications.
• Proven experience in managing electrical data or master data in an engineering or manufacturing environment.
• Expertise in ERP, PLM, and data management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Windchill, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of data governance, data quality, and master data management principles.
• Strong problem-solving abilities, with a focus on data accuracy and system integration.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Advanced degree or professional certifications in Data Management, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.
• Familiarity with electrical design tools (e.g., CAD, ECAD) and product lifecycle management software.
• Experience with data analytics and reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, SQL).
• Previous experience in implementing Master Data Management (MDM) systems or data governance initiatives.
