You are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Editor to join the publishing team of a book publisher in Daryaganj, Delhi. The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of experience in editorial management, preferably within the publishing industry. As a Senior Editor, you will be responsible for overseeing the editorial process from manuscript submission to final publication, ensuring high-quality content, and collaborating with authors, editors, and designers. Your key responsibilities will include reviewing, editing, and enhancing content to meet editorial standards, managing timelines and project deliverables, leading a team of editors and writers, providing strategic input on content development, and staying updated on industry trends and best practices. You will also work closely with the production team, develop marketing content, and use editorial software for editing and layout work. The successful candidate should have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in English, Journalism, or Communications, strong editing and proofreading skills, experience with manuscript editing, proficiency in publishing and design tools, and excellent project management and leadership abilities.
