Job Description

Manpower Resources India Pvt. Ltd is a leading Executive Search & Selection company, caters to recruitment services in Manufacturing, Infrastructure, Engineering & Healthcare domain.

We have been mandated by a large conglomerate which is into Stainless Steel Manufacturing for the below mentioned role.

Job Purpose:

Key Responsibilities (KRA):

1. Human Resources (HR)

  • Implement and monitor HR strategies, policies, and procedures at the plant level.
  • Handle end-to-end employee lifecycle processes including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, training & development, and exit management.
  • Coordinate with corporate HR for talent acquisition and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Manage payroll inputs and HRIS updates in coordination with corporate office.

2. Industrial Relations (IR)

  • Maintain a harmonious industrial environment by engaging with workmen, union representatives, and contract labor.
  • Handle disciplinary actions, grievances, and domestic enquiries in line with company policies and legal frameworks.
  • Coordinate with legal teams for labor-related matters and ensure prompt resolution

3. Statutory Compliances

  • Ensure 100% compliance with all labor laws applicable to the plant including Factories Act, Contract Labour (Regulation & Abolition) Act, ESI, PF, Bonus, Gratuity, and other applicable statutes.
  • Maintain statutory records, ensure timely submission of returns and facilitate labor audits/inspections.
  • Liaison with government authorities such as Labour Department, Factory Inspectorate, Pollution Control Board, etc.

4. Plant Administration

  • Oversee security, transport, canteen, housekeeping, and other administrative services within the plant.
  • Manage vendor contracts for administrative functions and ensure service quality.
  • Ensure effective facility management and cost control measures.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • MBA/ PGDM in HR or MSW (HR/IR specialization) or equivalent.
  • 10 to 15 years of relevant experience, preferably in steel or heavy manufacturing sector.
  • Sound knowledge of labor laws, IR practices, and compliance requirements.
  • Proven experience in managing plant-level HR & Admin operations
