Educational Qualification:

• B.Tech (Chemical Engineering) or
• Diploma (Chemical Engineering)

Experience:

• 15 to 20 years of relevant experience
• Preference will be given to candidates from chloro-alkali industry background

Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee the operation and maintenance of the chlorine plant ensuring smooth and safe plant operations.
• Manage and optimize chlorine production processes to achieve target outputs and quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations specific to chlorine production.
• Supervise plant personnel, schedule shifts, and lead the team for efficient plant functioning.
• Coordinate with maintenance, quality control, and safety departments to minimize downtime and ensure plant reliability.
• Monitor plant performance metrics, troubleshoot operational issues, and implement corrective actions.
• Plan and execute production expansion or process improvement projects as per company objectives.
• Maintain proper documentation and reporting related to plant operations and safety incidents.
• Liaise with vendors, contractors, and regulatory authorities as required.

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong technical knowledge of chlorine production in a chloro-alkali plant.
• Thorough understanding of plant safety standards and preventive maintenance.
• Leadership and team management skills.
• Problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
