Job Description

The structured finance analytics team at Morningstar DBRS in Mumbai is seeking a Manager who will lead a team of Quant Analysts in automating data analysis processes, developing data analytics, and enhancing workflow optimization tools to support the rating, research, and surveillance process. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of Structured Finance products (RMBS, ABS, CMBS) and possess technical skills in Python, Tableau, AWS, Athena, SQL, and VBA. This role requires expertise in managing a team, fostering a collaborative work environment, and prioritizing work schedules to ensure timely and quality delivery. The Manager will also be responsible for maintaining communication with global teams, transforming data, implementing quick fix solutions, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and company policies. The successful candidate should have 9-11 years of experience in Credit Modeling/Model Validation roles, hold a qualification in MBA (Finance)/BTech/PHD (Math) from a Tier I college, and demonstrate strong analytical skills with experience in working with large databases/datasets. Proficiency in Python, Tableau, Microsoft Excel, MSSQL, and familiarity with AWS infrastructure will be essential for this role. The Manager should be highly organized, efficient, and capable of multitasking to meet tight deadlines while ensuring high-quality deliverables.
