Role Summary

The Manager Change Management & Process Excellence will lead critical initiatives to drive operational efficiency, implement process improvements, and manage change programs across our pharma formulation manufacturing units. The role will collaborate cross-functionally to embed a culture of continuous improvement, automation, and excellence in execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end process improvement and operational excellence projects in formulation manufacturing (tablets, capsules, injectables, etc.).
• Drive change management initiatives, including digitization and automation projects aligned with company strategy.
• Develop and track Operational Excellence KPIs to measure and sustain improvements.
• Facilitate cross-functional workshops, kaizen events, and training programs to build internal capabilities.
• Map and analyze existing processes; identify gaps and propose robust solutions.
• Ensure alignment of process improvements with regulatory compliance standards (FDA, WHO GMP).
• Support development of SOPs, work instructions, and change control documentation.
• Collaborate with plant leadership and functional teams to ensure buy-in and effective implementation.
• Mentor and build a small team of analysts/executives over time.
• Prepare and present project updates and dashboards to senior management.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 7 years of experience in pharmaceutical formulation manufacturing (OSD or injectables preferred).
• Graduate degree in Pharmacy, Science, Engineering, or related disciplines.
• Demonstrated experience managing process excellence or change management programs in a regulated environment.
• Familiarity with manufacturing systems, workflows, and quality management processes.
• Exposure to automation and digital transformation projects.

Preferred Skills & Certifications

• Lean, Six Sigma Green Belt / Black Belt certification (preferred but not mandatory).
• Strong project management and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability to influence and drive change across teams and levels.
• Proficiency in MS Office, process mapping tools, and data analysis.

Work Requirements

• Willingness to travel regularly between Dehradun and Mumbai locations.
• Flexibility to manage priorities across multiple projects.
