Job Title: Manager-Business Development

• Develop and execute a

  comprehensive business development strategy

  targeting the Indian defense sector (private and public).
• Build strong relationships with key stakeholders in MoD, DRDO, DPSUs (HAL, BEL, BEML, BDL etc.), and the private defense OEMs.
• Track and analyze defense procurement plans, RFPs, EOIs, RFIs, and align company offerings accordingly.
• Lead the end-to-end pursuit process from

  lead generation to proposal submission and contract negotiation

  .
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and project teams to tailor offerings to customer requirements.
• Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of projects and provide accurate business forecasts.
• Represent the company at defense expos, trade shows, and industry events.
• Identify partnership or JV opportunities with global OEMs to enhance our defense offerings.
• Ensure compliance with defense procurement policies
• Monitor competitor activities and market trends to refine go-to-market strategies.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Electronics preferred); MBA is an added advantage.
• 812 years of experience in business development, sales, or strategic partnerships in the Indian defense sector.
• Thorough understanding of Indian defense procurement procedures, especially DPP/DAP 2020, and relevant government policies.
• Proven track record of closing high-value defense contracts and long-cycle business engagements.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a proven ability to build relationships at senior levels in both public and private sectors.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and travel extensively across India.
