We are looking for a seasoned and dynamic Insurance Manager to lead our insurance division. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of life, health, and general insurance products , strong experience in team handling , and a proven track record of driving insurance sales and ensuring compliance with regulatory norms. This role is critical in aligning our insurance portfolio with the companys financial products and client segments. Key Responsibilities: Leadership & Team Management: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of insurance executives and coordinators. Drive performance through goal setting, training, and performance reviews. Foster a high-performance culture and team collaboration. Insurance Operations: Manage and expand the insurance portfolio across life, health, and general categories. Ensure timely and accurate processing of insurance applications, policy issuance, and claims coordination. Work closely with insurers, underwriters, and partners to optimize processes and offerings. Business Development & Strategy: Identify cross-selling and up-selling opportunities with existing NBFC products (e.g., loans, credit services). Develop sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue and growth targets. Analyze market trends to recommend new insurance products or partnerships. Compliance & Documentation: Ensure adherence to all regulatory and compliance norms laid down by IRDAI and other governing bodies. Maintain complete and up-to-date records of all insurance-related transactions and audits. Customer Service: Resolve escalated customer issues and claims-related queries effectively. Enhance client experience by implementing best practices and feedback mechanisms. Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelors degree in any stream (MBA/PGDM in Insurance or Finance preferred). 58 years of relevant experience in insurance operations and sales , preferably in an NBFC, BFSI, or insurance company. Strong leadership skills with proven experience in team management . Excellent knowledge of insurance products, regulations, underwriting , and claims process . Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); working knowledge of insurance software/CRM tools is a plus.
