Maintenance Manager (Automotive Industry)

As a Maintenance Manager in the Automotive industry located in Meerut, you are required to have 3-8 years of experience with a strong understanding of IATF, EHS, and EMS standards. Your role will involve developing and implementing a preventive maintenance schedule for all manufacturing equipment and machinery. You will collaborate with production and quality departments to minimize downtime and enhance equipment efficiency. Your responsibilities will include ensuring timely troubleshooting and repairs of machinery, tools, and systems such as CNC Coiling machines and Grinding machines. It is crucial to maintain all tools, machinery, and related equipment in optimal working condition. In addition, you will lead, supervise, and mentor a maintenance team consisting of technicians, electricians, and engineers. Training the maintenance staff on equipment handling, safety standards, and best practices is also part of your role. Managing an inventory of critical spare parts, negotiating with suppliers for cost-effective purchases, and ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations are essential tasks. You will be responsible for implementing workplace safety programs to prevent injuries and accidents. Building and managing relationships with external vendors and contractors for specialized repairs, maintenance contracts, and equipment installations is also expected. Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities, including breakdowns, repairs, preventive maintenance tasks, and costs, and generating reports for senior management to highlight key metrics like downtime, maintenance costs, and equipment performance are critical aspects of the role. Additionally, handling DG Set and ETP are part of your responsibilities.
