Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Install and set up new machines and production equipment in the plant
• Handle commissioning and testing of new equipment as per OEM standards • Perform timely breakdown and preventive maintenance to ensure machine uptime • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve mechanical issues in coordination with production teams • Liaise with OEMs for spares procurement and machine-specific technical support • Maintain equipment logs, maintenance records, and documentation • Ensure compliance with safety and maintenance protocols on the shop floor • Work with cross-functional teams during machine upgrades and new projects

Preferred candidate profile

Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering is mandatory
• 2–5 years of hands-on maintenance experience in a manufacturing or production plant • Strong knowledge of industrial equipment, mechanical systems, and troubleshooting • Experience with machine installation, commissioning, and preventive maintenance • Familiarity with OEM documentation, spares management, and vendor coordination • Proficient in MS Excel, maintenance logs, and basic ERP tools • A proactive team player with strong problem-solving and communication skills
