Mainframe z/OS Systems Programmer

You will be joining our team as a Junior Mainframe Z OS Systems Programmer on a full-time basis. The position is available at various locations such as Noida, Pune, Mumbai, Kolkata, Bangalore, Hyderabad, and Coimbatore. Your primary responsibility will involve managing and maintaining mainframe systems to ensure optimal performance and supporting new implementations. To excel in this role, you must possess strong technical skills and a dedication to delivering effective system solutions. Your qualifications should include proficiency in utilizing SMP/E for z/OS system maintenance and enhancements, alongside a comprehensive understanding of its processes. You should also have experience with SMP, showcasing your ability to effectively manage and apply system patches. Advanced skills in managing and configuring Z/OS environments are essential to guarantee robust system performance and reliability. Additionally, expertise in installation and configuration processes critical for deploying new software releases and managing system updates is crucial. Your role will involve installing, configuring, and maintaining mainframe operating systems and related components to ensure optimal system performance. Regular system monitoring and tuning activities will be necessary to maintain peak operational efficiency. You will also need to apply patches, upgrades, and fixes using SMP/E to uphold system integrity and security.
