Mainframe CICS System Programmer

As a Mainframe CICS Admin at Wipro, you will be responsible for tasks such as upgrading/installing CICS Transaction Servers, zCEE, CICS PA, and other vendor products, as well as performing regular maintenance tasks by applying FIX packs. You will handle installation and tuning processes for CICS webservices, CICS plex System manager, JVM Servers, and other related tasks to ensure the smooth operation of CICS services and infrastructures. Your role will also involve identifying performance bottlenecks, providing administrative solutions, and monitoring ticketing tools to resolve incidents within agreed SLAs. To excel in this position, we are looking for a candidate with problem-solving skills, accountability, and proficiency in utilizing system diagnostics tools like CA SYSVIEW, Omegamon, Fault Analyzer, and CICS PA. You should have a good understanding of CICS Application Architecture, z/OS Job Control Language (JCL), and tools like Service Now and BMC Remedy for Incident/Change Management. The ability to work on weekends on a rotational basis to support client systems 24/7 is essential for this role. The ideal candidate should have 5-8 years of experience as a Mainframe Infra Admin and possess the adaptability to reinvent themselves in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.
