As the Associate Director of Business Analytics at Zepto, you will play a crucial role in leading data-driven decision-making throughout the organization. Your responsibilities will include spearheading the business analytics function, collaborating with senior leadership to shape long-term strategies, and establishing a top-tier analytics team. This position necessitates a profound understanding of analytics, effective cross-functional teamwork, and a keen awareness of business drivers in a dynamic setting. You will be entrusted with a range of key responsibilities, such as overseeing analytics initiatives across various business units like Product, Growth, Supply Chain, Marketing, and Operations. Working closely with CXOs and senior executives, you will identify growth opportunities and provide guidance for data-informed strategic choices. Additionally, you will be responsible for developing and implementing company-wide metrics, reporting structures, and data processes to drive informed decision-making. Your role will also involve leading large-scale analytical projects encompassing customer segmentation, churn modeling, demand forecasting, and pricing analysis. Moreover, you will mentor and supervise a team of senior business analysts and analytics managers to deliver valuable insights and enhance operational efficiency. Creating scalable dashboards and automation pipelines to democratize data access across teams will be another crucial aspect of your responsibilities. Fostering a culture of experimentation, A/B testing, and rigorous performance evaluation will be essential in this role. Collaboration with Data Engineering and Product teams to ensure the availability of clean and reliable data infrastructure is also a key component. Your qualifications should include a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field. You should have at least 8-12 years of experience in business analytics, with a minimum of 2-3 years in a leadership position. Prior exposure to high-growth startups, e-commerce, or consumer tech environments is highly desirable. The ideal candidate will possess advanced proficiency in SQL and hands-on experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Looker, or Power BI. Familiarity with Python, R, or similar tools for statistical modeling and automation is essential. Expertise in analytical techniques like forecasting, cohort analysis, LTV modeling, and funnel optimization will be advantageous. A deep understanding of business KPIs, particularly in consumer internet or operational analytics contexts, is crucial. Strong leadership skills, effective stakeholder management abilities, and outstanding communication and storytelling capabilities to translate complex data into actionable insights are also required for this role.,
