The Junior Electrical Engineer position in Ernakulam requires a candidate with 6 months to 1 year of experience and a Diploma in Electrical Engineering (DEEE). As a Junior Electrical Engineer, you will be assisting senior engineers in various tasks related to the installation, maintenance, testing, and documentation of electrical systems across residential, commercial, or industrial projects. Your responsibilities will include supporting site supervision, installation, and commissioning of electrical systems, assisting with wiring, cabling, and panel board works, conducting routine inspection, testing, and preventive maintenance tasks, coordinating with vendors, contractors, and project managers, maintaining records of site work, material usage, and progress reports, interpreting Single Line Diagrams (SLD) and basic electrical drawings, as well as ensuring adherence to safety regulations and quality standards at the site. Key Skills Required: - Basic knowledge of LT/HT systems, switchgear, circuit breakers, etc. - Proficiency in working with electrical tools and measuring instruments. - Understanding of site safety practices. - Strong communication and teamwork skills. - Ability to work under supervision and follow instructions. - Basic computer skills for report preparation (Excel, Word). The role may involve working on-site or field projects, with occasional travel to project locations. The salary offered is as per industry standards or fixed.
