Logistics Specialist

Position:

Role & responsibilities:

• Review plans/deliverables for new integrated refinery and petrochemical projects to ensure that they comply with Company Standards and Regulations as well as industry codes related to supply chain management and logistics.
• Participate in prefeasibility/feasibility studies as well as pre-FEED/FEED (Front-End Engineering Design) phases for refinery and petrochemical projects. Participating in Engineering, Procurement and Construction Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) studies for refinery and petrochemical projects.
• Develop, review, and analyze engineering documents related to supply chain and logistics for refineries and petrochemical complexes such as, but not limited to, marine terminals, jetties, berths, polymer logistics hubs, liquids and solids handling centers, in-bound and out-bound pipelines to and from the facilities, rail systems to transport polymer products to the marine, trucking, products handling in terms of intermediate storage tanks, warehouses, packaging, etc.
• Lead and implement Work Processes, Integrated Management Systems: Olympus Dictation Management System (ODMS), 3rd Party Logistics Contract Administration, and Operations improvement programs.
• Identify, assess and optimize the material flow and risk trade-offs across the supply chain at a tactical or strategic level (inventory, purchasing costs, production costs, logistics costs, product quality, asset utilization, productivity and customer service).

Preferred candidate profile

• As the successful candidate you must hold a Bachelors degree in Supply Chain or Engineering discipline from a recognized and approved program. An advanced degree is preferred.
• 15 years experience in the refining and petrochemical & Oil and Gas industry.
• Experience in commercial negotiations and projects development for 3rd party business models projects such as Build/Own/Operate (BOO), Build/Own/Operate/Transfer (BOOT), etc.
