Job Description

Key Responsibilities: Storage Management: Oversee and manage the inventory in the warehouse, ensuring efficient storage and retrieval of goods. Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock audits. Implement and enforce proper storage procedures and practices to prevent damage and loss. Dispatch Operations: Coordinate and manage the dispatch of goods to various destinations, ensuring timely and accurate delivery. Prepare and manage dispatch documentation, including invoices, packing lists, and shipping labels. Liaise with transportation providers to arrange efficient and cost-effective shipping solutions. Logistics Coordination: Plan and coordinate logistics operations, including inbound and outbound shipments. Monitor and track shipments to ensure on-time delivery and resolve any issues that arise during transit. Optimize logistics processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs. Import Processes: Oversee the import process for goods from China, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and requirements. Prepare and manage import documentation, including bills of lading, commercial invoices, and certificates of origin. Coordinate with customs brokers and freight forwarders to ensure smooth customs clearance. Customs Duties and Government Regulations: Ensure compliance with all customs regulations and government laws related to import duties and taxes. Keep updated with changes in customs regulations and implement necessary changes in the import process. Resolve any issues related to customs clearance and import duties. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all logistics activities and transactions. Prepare regular reports on inventory levels, dispatch performance, and logistics costs. Ensure all documentation is compliant with company policies and government regulations. Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with other departments, including procurement, sales, and customer service, to ensure seamless logistics operations. Communicate effectively with suppliers, transportation providers, and customs officials. Address and resolve any issues or discrepancies in a timely manner. Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in logistics, dispatch, and store management, preferably with experience in import processes from China. Strong knowledge of import documentation and customs regulations. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, and logistics management software. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Knowledge of Mandarin is a plus. Working Conditions: This position may require occasional travel to suppliers or customs offices. Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Flexibility to work outside standard office hours if necessary to meet operational needs.
