Profile Summary: We are looking for a seasoned Control Manager with extensive experience in SPM (Special Purpose Machine) design , industrial automation, and advanced PLC programming. The ideal candidate must have successfully led a team and delivered over 30+ automation projects , primarily using Mitsubishi, Allen-Bradley, and Siemens PLCs . This role demands a deep understanding of electrical control systems, HMI/SCADA integration, and the ability to deliver end-to-end automation solutions. Key Responsibilities: Lead a team of control engineers in designing and delivering automation solutions for SPM machinery. Develop and review electrical schematics , control panel designs , and I/O layouts . Program, test, and debug PLCs (Mitsubishi, Allen-Bradley, Siemens) for new and retrofit SPM projects. Integrate HMI and SCADA systems with real-time industrial communication protocols. Ensure smooth commissioning and installation of automation systems at client sites. Analyze client requirements and design complete industrial automation solutions tailored for special-purpose machines. Provide technical direction and mentoring to junior engineers. Collaborate with mechanical and electrical teams to ensure seamless system integration. Lead troubleshooting, debugging, and support of live automation systems. Prepare and maintain documentation , project schedules, and compliance reports. Ensure projects are delivered within time, cost, and quality standards . Key Skills & Technical Proficiency: Expertise in PLC Programming : Mitsubishi (GX Works, FX series) Allen-Bradley (RSLogix 5000, Studio 5000) Siemens (TIA Portal, S7 series) HMI & SCADA systems: WinCC, FactoryTalk, GT Designer, etc. Field communication protocols: Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP, OPC . Hands-on experience in industrial sensors, drives (VFDs, servos), actuators , etc. Strong grounding in electrical control panel design & troubleshooting . Knowledge of AutoCAD Electrical / EPLAN is preferred. Experience: Minimum 10-15 years in industrial automation and SPM machine design. Must have successfully led and delivered 30+ projects . Experience across multiple industrial domains like automotive, packaging, robotics, textile, or precision engineering preferred.

As a Li-ion Battery Manufacturing Process Planner at Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India Pvt. Preferred education for this role includes a B.E/ Diploma in Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, Automobile, or Electrical, with relevant experience ranging from 2-10 years. Prepare Tooling Project Specifications (TPS) and share with suppliers for technical/commercial offers Validate technical offers and estimate tooling costs to share with sourcing Ensure compliance with country-specific standards and local EHS requirements during design and manufacturing Develop innovative tooling concepts including welding fixtures, assembly fixtures, and lifting tackles Design tooling using Catia V5 and DMA Implement automation using hydraulic and pneumatic systems for welding and assembly fixtures Conduct design reviews (DR) and DAP with stakeholders, integrating past REX and improvement areas Create detailed 2D drawings in Catia V5 with critical dimensions, manufacturing tolerances, and GD&T Clarify drawing-related queries with suppliers Track manufacturing progress, ensure quality in welding, machining, and painting Make and update modifications during validation and trials Conduct inspection, validation, and trials of fixtures; address trial concerns with CAPA Collaborate with engineering and process teams for alignment during TPS preparation and design reviews Travel to sites: Sricity, Savli, Kolkata, Coimbatore, Madhepura and supplier locations across India Follow up with tooling suppliers and ensure schedules are met Optimize tooling costs via design and manufacturing efficiency Contribute to developing tooling standards and a tooling library Educational Requirements Degree/Diploma in Mechanical or Tool Design Engineering (assumed from context) Experience Mandatory: Experience in tooling design, especially in railway or heavy industries Hands-on experience with line automation Desirable: Previous exposure to multi-location manufacturing and tooling coordination Competencies & Skills Proficiency in Catia V5 and DMA Strong knowledge of GD&T Understanding of EHS and country-specific compliance in tooling Experience in hydraulic/pneumatic automation for tooling Ability to coordinate and communicate across internal teams and suppliers Fluent in English
