Responsibilities : Design and Development : Design and develop instrumentation and control systems based on project requirements. Specify and select appropriate instruments and sensors for specific applications. Create technical drawings, schematics, and specifications for instrumentation systems. Installation and Commissioning : Oversee the installation of instrumentation and control systems on-site. Collaborate with contractors and technicians during the commissioning phase. Ensure that instruments are calibrated and configured correctly. Maintenance and Troubleshooting : Conduct routine maintenance on instrumentation systems to ensure optimal performance. Diagnose and troubleshoot issues related to instrumentation and control systems. Implement corrective actions to address identified problems. Calibration and Testing : Develop and implement calibration procedures for instruments. Perform calibration and testing of instruments to ensure accuracy and reliability. Keep records of calibration activities and maintain calibration standards. Documentation : Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for instrumentation systems. Prepare technical reports, manuals, and guidelines for users and maintenance personnel. Keep abreast of industry standards and ensure compliance. Collaboration : Work closely with other engineering disciplines, such as electrical, mechanical, and process engineers. Collaborate with project managers to ensure the successful execution of projects. Provide technical support to other departments as needed.

- Calibrate the instruments periodically as per pre-defined schedules under the supervision of Supervisor/Engineer - Ensure timely inputs to plant person or superiors & contribute to prevent incident / accident in plant or shop floor - Conduct the functional test of newly received instruments under the guidance of superior - Ensure cable terminate/gland and reliable power source to instruments & systems - Fill calibration report, checklist, daily log sheet etc. - Accountable & responsible for the deviations due to instrument failure - Contribute in management of spares inventory along with collection/deposition at stores - Ensure & maintain housekeeping in area of ownership through instrument cleaning by self or with the help of contract workmen
